Aerospace Casting Redefined

Aerocast is a leading manufacturer of complex aluminum and magnesium alloy castings for use in the aerospace industry. Using a process called sand casting, Aerocast produces its top of the line products for aerospace contractors all over the world. The company’s products have been utilized in building Airbus’ and Boeing’s automatic transmission units, fuel pumps, generator housings, and engines.

Aerocast’s Foundry is housed in Nogales, Mexico, in a 20,000 sq. ft. facility. The facility currently accommodates around 150 employees, but may be expanded if necessary. Because production is located in Mexico where labor rates are comparably lower, high margins are available.

Growing demand for equipment and castings generate annual sales of over $2 millon. More specifically, orders for tooling and castings from Aerocast totaled $1.9 million USD since March 2008.
